THE SIGHT

And at last we are stricken down by the Sight!
And there on the new-birthed Earth we cannot move nor speak.
Our eyes want to close no more - nor blink,
And the Heart...
The Heart opens publicly,
Never, ever to seal again - No! It has Seen! -
And gratefully does it weep...
